Apex Legends Guide

Apex Legends in a free-to-play battle royale game. The game was released for Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February of 2019. It is developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts (EA). The game was kept under wraps until it’s launch. The release in 2019 came as a surprise to many as until then it was assumed that Respawn were working on a third installment of the popular Titanfall franchise. Apex Legends is currently in its fourth season. The game may not be as popular as Fortnite but has created its own niche of players. Many consider the game a worthy opponent to Fortnite

Up to 20 three-person squads land on an island where they have to search and acquire weapons and supplies. The aim of this game is to defeat all the enemies. The last team standing will win the round. Each “legend” has three unique abilities. They have a passive, a tactical and an ultimate ability.

If you do find yourself playing this action-packed battle royale game, here are some Apex Legends guide tips that might help you

1. Practice Apex Legends

The most important tip is to keep practicing. Luckily for newbies, Apex has a training mode. Using the training mode will help you in understanding the button layout, the features in the game, feel of weapons etc. All of the 20 guns are available in training mode. This way you can figure out which gun is best suited for your style of playing.  However the best way of getting around the game is playing it.

Tip 2 Use attachments on your guns

Apex Legends Overview Weapon Attachment

There are five types of attachments for guns : Barrel stabilizers, extended mags, stocks, optic sights, shotgun bolts and hop-ups. Understand what each attachment does and which attachment is best suited for which gun. These attachments can push your gun to its limit allowing you to utilize its complete potential.

3 Utilize the inventory space to the max

You drop with no weapon so just pick up whatever weapon is around whether gun or  melee it’ll do you better than throwing punches. You can always change the weapon later once you find what you want. Remember to grab a helmet, body shield, shield cells, cells to recharge your shield, syringes, med kits, a backpack to increase your inventory space, grenades, knock-down shields, ultimate accelerants and of course weapon attachments.

Tip 4 : Find a legend that suits your style

Each character or legend has its own unique set of abilities. A rather frustrating thing about Apex Legends is that a character can only be used once within each squad. So if you do have one legend that you always stick, play around and have two backups so in case you don’t get to pick your first choice there is always backup plans.
