All free-to-play Warzone players now have a chance to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare Multiplayer absolutely free, but only for this weekend (3rd April to 6th April). The Multiplayer zone consists of world-class gameplay, deep weapon customization, and gritty, photorealistic environments. To join you have to navigate to the lobby. In the Warzone lobby you’ll see a ‘Stocked Up, Locked Down’ 24/7 playlist. The lobby has 2 maps available Atlas Superstore and Shoot House. The multiplayer zone offers you various modes to play with a team including deathmatch, domination and Hardpoint.
The different modes have been explained below,
Team Deathmatch
This is the traditional 6v6 match where the number of kills matter, the first team to reach 70 kills wins the round. So it doesn’t matter whether you’re killing with a sniper, AR or a grenade, Just tighten your belt and get ready for a showdown.
Kill Confirmed
As described by the Activision Website, “Team Deathmatch gets a high-stakes twist, where killed players drop dog tags. Collect teammates’ dog tags to deny your enemies’ kills and pick up your enemies’ dog tags to earn points for your team. The first team to earn 70 points (collect 70 dog tags), also collects the W.” This is surely a game with a twist where you not only have to kill enemies but collect their tags and also save the tags of your own teammates, making it 2 fold exciting.
Hardpoint
It is basically like domination, but instead of flags there’ll be zones that will keep rotating. The way you capture a zone is by being in it while your points simultaneously increase. Further if the enemy team has captured the zone, kill them all and take it back from them to increase your chances of winning. The first team to 250 points wins.
Headquarters
Similar to hardpoint, but it has one permanent headquarter that you need to capture. The interesting thing is, the team capturing the headquarter doesn’t respawn. The first team to 200 points wins.
