Stadia Google

Stadia is the tech giant’s first real attempt to penetrate the gaming world unlike other tech moguls in the shape of Microsoft’s Xbox consoles. Ingenuity and Google have gone hand in hand for years now, and it’s difficult for us to dispute that considering how google products are an integral part of nearly all humans on the planet. Stadia hasn’t fallen far from the Google tree of ingenuity. The entire USP, in the logo; No more boxes. Google Stadia is the world’s first gaming service that allows players to Stream games. No consoles. Google stadia launched on 19th November 2019, in 22 countries with expansion plans coming in 2020. Currently, the “pro tier” (paid) is the only one that has launched, with the free tier expected in 2020 as well.

Google Stadia Technical Requirements and Other Features

One of the most amazing things about Stadia is the low hardware and software requirements. Downloading updates for both games and consoles are eradicated by just simply streaming them. For actually playing games on Stadia’s pro tier, one would require simply a controller (currently being sold in the Stadia Premiere Edition Bundle). A Chromecast Ultra (4k streaming is currently only available. The Free tier will include 1080 p) a screen, and a decent internet connection of course. Stadia currently has rolled out 22 games including classics like Assasins Creed Odessey at $9.99 a month (Rs. 720).”

We have over 450 games in development right now that will be coming out in 2020 and beyond,” Google Vice President and General Manager Phil Harrison told Reuters.

Stadia users can currently access the service via the Chrome web browser on PCs, laptops, TVs, and tablets. Smartphones that can access the service include the Pixel line (Pixel 3, Pixel 3 a). However, Google plans to bring more android devices to the service sooner rather than later
