COD Mobile Season 7 update will finally be released today across all mobile devices. The update was supposed to roll out on 6th June but was postponed due to ‘Black Lives Matter” protest in the United States.
There has been a lot of hype around the new season which has been dubbed as the ‘Radioactive Agent Update’. We bring you the whole lot changes, updates, bug fixes added to the game recently by Activision, the game developers.
1. Battle Royale
The most significant update added into the game has to be the additions made in the Battle Royale mode. The only available in the mode has been expanded with a host of new locations added. New areas like Black Market, Downtown, Sanitarium, Ski Town, Frigid Wetlands, Harbor, Heat have been implemented into the map. Users can also expect surprises in the form of vending machines which now will be available in the Black Market, the secret room in Sanatarium and the Ball Room downtown.
A fully weaponized Tank will also be available in the mode loaded with a 120mm smoothbore gun along with a machine gun. The Tank though will only be available through airdrops and not be spawned like other vehicles.
Popular rifles like the Man-O-War and the DLQ33 sniper rifle will now be spawned in the game. Tempest, a legendary weapon had also been added.
Coming to weapon attachments, a tactical flashlight can be equipped which can blind enemies in close ranges if the player in aiming down sights. A Dead Silence Suppressor which hides your location on the oppositions’s mini map while firing your weapon and a Iron Hand stock which increases movement speed while firing and corroborates stability even when attacked have been added.
2. Multiplayer
The most popular mode in the game has seen an addition of two new maps:- Tunisia and Gulag. The former is based on a Mediterranean beach town while the latter has been taken from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
A new game mode has also been included in the COD Mobile Season 7 update: Attack of the Undead. In this new mode all players start as survivors after which one of them turns into an undead. Any survivor killed by the undead becomes an undead. The catch here is that an undead player can be revived multiple times. The survivors need to stay alive till the end, while the undead need to hunt down all the survivors. The new mode will be available in Tunisia, Standoff, Summit, Raid, and Crash maps.
3. Battle Pass
COD Mobile Season 7 Battle Pass will be available in the free and premium variants as usual from today on wards. The free version has a new base level QQ9 SMG which promises to have automatic fire with good accuracy. CLuster Strike, a new scorestreak which continuously fires missiles on a designed location has been added.
Premium Battle Pass users will get their hands on Ghost – Hazmat, and Krueger – Alchemist, two epic soldiers. They will also receive an epic version of QQ9 SMG known as QQ9 -Flood.
4. Events
COD Mobile Season 7 update also brings new challenges and missions which offer different rewards. The first one is Smoke Bomber, a new Battle Royale Class. As the name suggest, it releases multiple smoke bombs on a designated location when activated.
Chopped, a new base LMG is one of the rewards which player can win. It is supposed to be fully automatic weapon with a high rate of fire. THe weapon is best effective at medium to long range battles.
