PUBG has announced the release of update 0.18.0 with a new revamped or renewed Miramar map that will be launched on May 7. Most likely the name of the map will also be updated to ’Mad Miramar’. They announced regarding this update in a tweet.
The map Miramar is known for its great sniping opportunities. All it has is barren land and mountains with a lot of buildings so it is a great map if you want some sniping practice.
The new ‘Mad Miramar’ will have 2 new features for snipers. A scope will be available for WIn 94 or the Winchester model 1894 and the canted sight.
A 2.7x scope could now be used on the Win94. This makes it one of the most dangerous weapons on the PUBG arsenal. This would certainly make it a weapon of choice just like AWM or M24. Also the new map Mad Miramar wil feature various new locations for better sniping.
On the other hand chanted sight will help you attach a secondary scope on a weapon and thus you could switch between scopes much more quickly while using the gun.
Another addition in this update will be the addition of vending a machine to the map. I, personally, am very curious as to what the vending machine will give out. Will it be similar to the token machinery that came with the amusement park update? We’ll have to wait to find out!
Apart from this, the new update will feature the release of the P90 submachine gun as an addition to the arsenal. Also a golden colored Mirado vehicle is also being added, and only one of them will be spawned per game, make sure to keep it safe if you find it!
There are speculations that a ‘Jungle mode’ will also be there in the new update but then it hasn’t been confirmed by any sources yet.
