In a new teaser trailer titled ‘Apex Legends | Stories from the Outlands – “Legacy of a Thief”’ launched on April, 30th Apex Games has announced the arrival of a new hero in the new Season 5 of the game. They also tweeted this on twitter,
For those of you new to this game, Apex Legends is a free Battle Royale Game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts released in February 2019. The game involves 20 3 person squad or 2 person duos landing on an island searching for weapons and supplies in an attempt to defeat all others in order to win. The new hero Loba is shown as this extraordinary thief.
The story of the New Hero Loba
The trailer starts from depicting her childhood and a grave loss that she suffered and goes on to trace her journey to become a thief. She starts by stealing small items and climbs up the stairs of expensive items. With time she becomes this really powerful and better at stealing.
Eventually she meets a friend. Although there isn’t much insight to what happens next but the trailer does show in the end that both Loba and that friend are partners now. He tells her that he had found ‘him’ with this enormous image of Revenant up on a screen, sighting there is some cold blood between the two of them. This is how the trailer about the new hero Loba ceases.
The trailer only gives us some idea as to what the powers Loba would possess once she’s released as a hero. We are guessing sneaky stealing skills, athleticism, fight instincts and much more. The EA wesite describes her as ‘Stylish, sophisticated, and resourceful, whatever Loba wants, she takes. Good luck stopping her.’
