PES 2021 : Will it come with a new engine?

PES 2021

Pro Evolution Soccer better known as PES is a football simulation game published by Konami Productions is coming with the latest version of PES 2021 this year, the excitement is building up as fans are keen to know what new PES 2021 has to offer.

PES 2021 is expected to release in early September, 2020 which can be estimated keeping in mind the previous launch dates, although an exact date has not been confirmed yet. Also we have to keep in mid about the pandemic which might affect the release date.

It is estimated that PES 21 will cost around $60 in the United States while around €50 in the United Kingdom. The game could cost a bit more when it will eventually be released on next gen consoles.

New Features to expect from PES 2021:

  • Better graphics – With next gen consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X coming up, fans can expect a better gaming experience.
  • PES 21 seems to be based on a new game engine.
  • Fans can anticipate new stadiums and new leagues with even some familiar faces being added on.

A major change is the plan to change the engine used for designing the game. It is a big thing everytime someone talks about changing the engine because this means a lot of additional work for the developers and since they’ll be working from home there could be some changes in this plan. This change could also be possible brought about when the next gen consoles Xbox Series X and PS5 come out.

With all of this we also expect a major tweak in the graphics and the game play. If PES wants to catch up with it’s counterpart FIFA 21 it still has a long way to go and will have to take bigger strides to reach there! So we hope it does!
