Valve the developer of CS:GO has been talking about a new game engine since 2015. After the recent reports of the source code of the game as well as the source code of Team Fortress 2 getting leaked all over the internet there must be some big step that valve has to take. Now CS GO is a game that is played worldwide so if the issue becomes large it will have explicit consequences that is something Valve already knows. Source 2 Coming to CS:GO
Now this is where the new game engine comes into play. The new engine is by the name of Source 2 engine. And according to sources the new game engine could arrive soon. This would also make the players happy as they have been waiting for so long as well as solve the problem regarding the leaks.
Now according to a post made on the Chinese social networking Website Weibo, the game engine is ready to go and might even be there by May 18. Bringing Source 2 to the game will have far reaching impacts on the esports and the gaming industry, the extents of which can’t be predicted as of yet.
