The 2019 PUBG Awards happened throughout last months. They challenged players to complete certain different challenged each week to earn various rewards. These include in-game clothing, cosmetic items and even real-life prizes. A golden PUBG trophy in the shape of a helmet is being given out to only a few selected winners. So if you notice people trying to pull of some in-game moves, you know why.
Only a preview of the trophy was shared on the PUBG site’s post that spoke about the awards distribution process. The preview of this was only was a silhouette of a shiny golden helmet. Only one of the trophies will be given out for each region’s winner. The winner will be decided through voting from the pool of weekly challenge winners.
“Once each week’s winners have been chosen, we will hold a special fan-favorite vote of each week’s first place clips to determine who will take home the prestigious 2019 golden PUBG Award,” the PUBG site explained. There’s only one of these bad boys per region, so make sure you bring your A-game.”
