Tanmay Singh or as he is better known “Scout” is a staple name in the PUBG esports community. Scout has played for teams like RAW, IND, GodLike and so on. Currently he is a part of a global team known as Team Fnatic which not only actively participates in PUBG esports but also has teams for other esports like CS:GO, DOTA 2 etc. As the In-Game-Leader (IGL) he plays an important role in the team.
In a recent interview with Indian express, Scout spoke about the pressures of being in global esports team, his experiences and so on. Tanmay explains “In your own team if you mess up, there is not much pressure from anyone. However, if you have a big name like Fnatic behind you there is a lot of pressure. Due to the huge name that the company carries,”
Being a part of an active esports team is no easy task. It’s not about practising in-game but also involves a lot of groundwork. Tanmay spoke about the various strategies the team uses to get an upper hand on their rivals. He says they sit down and analyse numerous global teams. Understanding and studying their Gameplay and strategies. He says that Team Fnatic plays for approximately three hours a day. And spends the majority of the day on the theoretical part of the game, planning strategies, team discussion and more.
