This was something that the game community needed because of no major updates in the recent past the game had come to a virtual stand still. The new champion Volibear comes out after the vote for the next champions that took place in 2019 and Volibear and FiddleSticks were chosen.

Although we don’t have much as to the tweaked up abilities of Volibear but champion designer Nathun Lulz said “You’re going to see some crazy shit. Our marketing team is trying something new and over-the-top, and I’m grateful that they chose our bear to be a part of it. You may not get some things you’ve been expecting, and you’ll definitely get some things you weren’t expecting. Just remember that it’s all in good fun, and you’ll be able to try the new bear god for yourselves very, very soon!”

A video was also released by Riot Games on the League of Legends official Channel as a teaser to the new reworked champion. To view the Youtube video click here.

There are hints that damage and attack speed has been increased for closer enemies. Although many things are still similar to the Original Volibear. The update also released with it new skins along with the new abilities of the champion. The release date of the update has been set to 28th May. So they are releasing Volibear rework much faster than Fiddlestick to be honest! Nathan towards the end also remarked “I just want you to know that, in good faith, the team and I did our best to honor Volibear’s core identity and play style in a modern and more dynamic, skill-expressive way. If there’s something missing and you want to know why, I’m happy to have that conversation.”
