Remember when we covered agent Killjoy?

KILLJOY: A female agent hailing from Germany that will be introduced in ACT II of VALORANT.
Her abilities were accidentally leaked online, also the devs accidentally made the Killjoy reveal page live, but it was later made private.

It is speculated that most, if not all of Killjoy’s abilities can be recalled (picked up) & redeployed again.
The ALARMBOT:
It is a purchasable ability. It is basically a mine like trap that you place on the ground that deals damage to nearby target & also leaves them super vulnerable by doubling the damage they receive by other weapons or abilities.
The TURRET:
The TURRET is another purchasable ability. A bot that fires at all enemies within 180° degree of sight. The damage this bot deals to enemies is quite low & isn’t quite effective. You can also recall and redeploy this ability.
The NANOSWARM:
This is Killjoy’s signature ability. A throwable grenade/trap which once activated creates a circle with large radius that deals high damage to anyone & everyone inside it. This ability functions similar to CYPHER’s cage, but instead of forming an opaque cage it deals high damage like the BRIMSTONE’s molly.
The LOCKDOWN:
It is the agent’s ULTIMATE ability. Killjoy will deploy an device on the ground which winds up after some time. This device can be destroyed by the enemies.
The ability must be timed correctly because it takes around 10-13 seconds for the wind up to fully activate after deployment.
Once activated the ultimate will DETAIN all enemies in radius, affected enemies will be disoriented & slowed down to an extreme extent for the next 8 seconds, probably similar to BREACH’s stun.
It is still unclear what this ability actually does to the enemies, but I’ll suggest you to stay as far away as possible from the radius of this ability.
The devs have since confirmed the leak with a teaser tweet that showcases art with Killjoy’s abilities.
“Wer ist sie?” translates to “Who is she?“
“Wer ist sie?” is in German which hints at German origins of Killjoy just as speculated by the data miners.
Overall the agent looks really useful for a pre-made team, but using it for solo queue might be difficult looking at its semi-support nature.
This new agent might open up new options for defense, it will offer an alternative for players who main CYPHER.
Killjoy looks like a fun agent to try out & will be totally worth mastering once released.
