Fred done has decided to back the Manchester-based startup
In the latest news from the gaming world, Fred done, the co-founder of Betfred has decided to invest in GGIntel. Done founded UK-based bookmaker Betfred with his brother Peter Done in 1967. He currently serves as the company’s Chairman and CEO.
The financial details of the investment haven’t been revealed yet.
What’s GGIntel?
GGIntel is a manchester-based esports publication “focused on becoming a world-leading esports publisher providing bespoke content, global event and tournament information, and breaking industry updates to its community of fans”. It was launched last December.
Chris Young, the Managing Director of GGIntel had this to say about the investment:“I am delighted to have launched GGIntel in one of the most rapidly growing and exciting industries in the world. The aim of GGIntel is to be the global leader in providing transparent, in-depth esports information and education through engaging content written and produced by experts in the field. We are already off to a blinding start, and we’ve only just begun.”
Fred Done, a UK-based billionaire founded Betfred in 1967 with his brother Peter. He is currently the CEO and chairman of the company. Here is what he felt about his investment. “Esports is only going one way and that’s up, and I’m really excited to be involved with GGIntel. While GGIntel hasn’t done anything exceptional in its one month of publication. The financial banking of Fred Done should definitely give it a massive boost.
