GAMEPLAY DragonBall Z Dokkan Battle
The game has elements of board game, puzzle genres and collectible card game. With spots dedicated to items, power-ups, traps, and fights, the main game is made up of levels that work similarly to board games. Randomized rolls will help the player’s team to perform better, assembled by “unlocking” fighter with in-game or in-app purchases, across the board. Multiple orbs of different colours are placed between the player’s character and enemy and the player can match different kind of orbs to do attacks or use other abilities and techniques.
You can also (try to) match the type of character with their associated type of Ki for minor healing and special abilities. Mainly, though, you are at the whim of what colours of Ki the game gives you and how they are aligned on-screen The “Dokkan Mode” is available after a few orb matches. In this Mode, the players are required to tap 7 targets in a configuration which is Z-shaped as a ki orb passes over them. All the action sequences are quite fast and well-placed.
What can the fans expect
The fans will encounter a barrage of emotional moments and the game will provide the long term DBZ fans with some amusement and fun. There is not much innovative content but the colorful characters overshadows it. More han the solid content, the Dragonball Z Dokkan Battle is powered by emotional and nostalgic childhood memories.
Overall the game can be tried by fans but it will primarily be liked by the hardcore Dragon Ball Z fans. Get ready to get some action-packed pumped-up action while playing the game.
