Rocket League announced that its Blueprint Update will be released on December 4 at 1:00 PM EST.
Once the update goes live any unopened crate in the inventory will be converted into a blueprint of the same series. These blueprints will drop after select online matches. The drop will show a particular item that can be built using credits. Players are given a choice where they can either build the item, trade the blueprint or can keep the blueprint in their inventory. The new blueprints tab in the inventory will showcase all opened and unopened blueprints.
Keys which will be replaced by credits can be used for a lot of things. Such as building blueprints, buying items or upgrading to Rocket Pass Premium. Each key can be converted to 100 credits. The update also gives players the ability to archive their items. This will be kept in the archive tab in the inventory.
Rocket League revealed that since the update is pretty is major, there will be complete stoppage of crates dropping and purchases for 25 hours. Players cannot purchase keys or DLC packs and no player-to-player trades or trade-ins starting on December 3 12:00pm EST. However, all Rocket League online playlists will be running.
Rocket League are therefore launching a 2XP weekend starting November 27. This allows players to earn extra XP to tier up and earn Pro Tier Rewards before Rocket Pass 4 ends on December 3.
