PUBG Mobile is the king of battle royale games from past 2 years. PUBG developers keep on adding new modes, maps, themes, characters to keep players glued to the game. This is the reason that PUBG is still the heartbeat of Mobile players. Many upcoming PUBG Mobile updates were leaked weeks back. PUBG Mobile released its latest update on July 7 and launched many of the much awaited gifts and a new PUBG map for PUBG fans.
PUBG Mobile Update 0.19.0 –
Update was released by PUBG on 7TH July. One thing to note is that this update is not an in game update. Players have to update their game from the play store.
Update size for android is 1.84 GB. And for iOS update size is 2.14 GB.

Now let’s know about the update in detail.
Drop Tactics–
Players can choose their game style from two types Slow and Steady and Hot Drop. Many players believe in standing in the game till the end. They do not opt for high kills instead they think if they survive till the end they will get kills. They focus more on survival. But few also opt for hot drop locations like Bootcamp, Pecado, Vila, Georgopol. They believe in getting early kills so that they can finish the game with high kills.
So it creates a lack of teamwork between auto match players. To remove this hurdle this system was introduced. Players who want to play defensive can choose slow and steady.
Players who want to play aggressive can choose Hotdrop.
This helps in finding players with the same motive. This option is really helpful for those who don’t have their squad.
New Gun P90 –
New SMG is introduced with the name P90. This gun was earlier available in TDM. But now this gun can be found in classic matches as well.
It will not be wrong if I say this gun is an old UMP9. Same rate of fire. Same attachment. Almost identical recoil and damage. Players who like to use SMG a lot. This gun is going to be a new choice for them for sure. This gun has an advantage of high magazine capacity. P90 fires 50 bullets in a round. Which makes it a good choice for heavy fights.
PUBG New Map –
All players were eagerly waiting for Erangle 2.0 . but PUBG surprised all by brand newPUBG map called Livik. The best thing about this new PUBG map is that Livik map provides the environment of all existing maps Miramar, Erangle, Vikendi and Sanhok.
Livik, new PUBG map is a 2*2 km map. Which makes it the smallest map of PUBG Mobile. Size of Sanhok is 4*4 km. The biggest map of PUBG is still Miramar with big size of 10*10 km.
The left corner of the new PUBG map has a deserted look and the same big building as in Pecado. The top right corner of the map is snowy. And the area in the middle is a mixture of Sanhok and Erangle. The one good thing is that PUBG has used new doors and interiors. Most of the doors are wooden but in deserted side metal doors are there.
Currently Livik is in Beta. Means map can have some bugs, glitches. PUBG is clearing one thing with a message in the starting of each match that this is not the final graphics. Many players complained about frame drop and graphics like PUBG Lite. But it’s better if we wait till the final version of the map.
Note that new PUBG map Livik is a classic match map. Your performance will affect your stats like KD, rank etc.
New DMR MK12 –
PUBG has introduced a new gun in the category of DMR. Many players love to use DMR in long range to take down their enemies. MK12 is a Livik exclusive gun. This gun could be the best DMR available in the game. Fire rate of this gun is really good like a Mini-14. Have quite low recoil which makes it easy to handle. 52 players participate for a 15 minutes long match in the brand new Livik map.
Monster Truck –
This thing is to cheer those players who like reckless driving. Monster truck is really a very nice vehicle. It has really big tyres, open back roof. 4 players can sit in a Monster truck. The speed of monster truck is almost equal to buggy.
It is very easy to burst the tyres of a monster truck as the size of the tyres is really big and easy to shoot at. So a monster truck is not a good choice for safe movements. Monster truck is exclusive vehicle for new PUBG map Livik.
New Loading Screen –
PUBG has introduced a new loading screen in game. We can see a monster truck standing in a field of flowers near a Windmill. This loading screen shows the beauty of Livik map, its fields and environment.
Update Reward –
Players get rewards after updating as always. After the update players can see a small banner in the right hand corner with written 0.19.0. Players can collect rewards on clicking that article.
Players will get 100 AG, 2,888 BP and a nightmare helmet for 3 days.
players need to collect the reward. If players failed to collect players will miss the reward
Stun Grenade Ignite –
Players will see many Stun grenade statues, players can light fire in these by clicking on the ignite option. That big metal type grenade will start burning and soon it will turn into bacl colour after firing is stopped. Players can get small loot items like a vest, sights and drink after the fire is vanished.
Such grenades are available at many locations in classic matches. The one is available in Novo near the main road.
New update 0.19.0 is one of the best update till date according to me. New PUBG map Livik is designed very beautifully. Each match in Livik is 15 minutes long. So if you want to get chicken dinner in a fast paced match, than this map is for you. players can get rewards after updating the game. Personally i liked the nightmare helmet alot.
