In this blog we’ll be talking about the various new items introduced in the Arctic Survival mode which help in surviving the Blizzard and their best uses.
The purpose of the items mainly revolves around surviving the cold.
These are the new items in Arctic Mode
1.Branches
The primary way to survive the cold is by lighting a fire inside any house structure. To do that all you need are the branches. And believe me they are very abundantly available throughout the map. Even if you are alone having 8 branches is enough to survive through one blizzard. It is one of the most important of the new items in Arctic Mode
2. Roasted Chicken-
One thing you’ll notice is the presence of chickens around the map. Now you can connect the dots yourself, you have to kill the chicken first and then whenever you light the fire you can roast it. Once you have it you gain some energy.
3. Heat Pack
This too is used to keep yourself warm. In case the blizzard arrives and you haven’t been able to reach any building so to make sure your body temperature does not go down and your health does not start deteriorating you can use these war packs. Just like you use bandages against the blue zone, you can use these warm packs against the blizzards.
4. Heater
Another thing to fight the blizzard. This not only protects you from the cold but all the people around you in a circular area where it supplies heat. It has quite a long battery, but surely you should not depend entirely on it. While using the heater you should keep finding some structure to go inside and light a fire there
5. Ski
In order to travel long distances a ski mode of transport has also been added to the map. With this you will be able to easily travel.
6. Drone
This is a special new thing introduced in the game. You can operate this and find a picture of any area that the drone goes to. It is extremely useful while the blizzard is going on as you can spy as to how many enemies are near any fire mark in the map. This makes it one of the best new Items in Arctic Mode
