A special WYSIWYG editor, bundled with the game, enables importing of 3D models (in FBX file format) and allows artists to assign properties and material shaders to objects, with an emphasis on ease of use.
The editor exports a single game model file and does not allow opening of, or addition of objects to, an already exported file. The game also supports addition of third party widgets and plugins written in Python, C++ and C#, for uses such as telemetry or interface enhancements.
Thanks to these features and to the success of the game, a vast and ever-growing library of mods is available. The developers Kunos Simulazioni decided to recognize the quality work and dedication of the modding community by implementing a number of mods as officially released content and hire its creators on commission or full-time basis.

CAR: Koenigsegg One

TRACK: Lucca Ring – Circuito dei Baluardi
Lucca is a medieval city in Italy. They really do exist. Not the racetrack, but maybe the mayor should consider building it. The modders did a great job here and basically delivered a construction plan because they took a close look at the city and built the street course exactly into the real model. The environment is also beautifully implemented. It is the most detailed and most beautiful route of Assetto Corsa. The mods Assetto Corsa Lucca city just screams for racing. Be sure to download!
AUTO: Dallara Formula Renault 3.5
For the select few, Formula Renault 3.5 is often the last step before it goes into the premier class of motorsport: Formula 1. The engineers at Dallara have designed the car so that the drivers can take advantage of the even faster F1 cars prepared. Accordingly, the Dallara has a strong contact pressure for high cornering speeds, a powerful V8 engine with 530 hp and a DRS system. The modders are currently working on updating the racing car for the new mods Assetto Corsa tire model.
TRACK: Bridgehampton
The Bridgehampton Race Circuit was a racetrack that lay in the posh Hamptons on Long Island. Significant: It was demolished in 1997 to make room for a golf course. In the mod, a route is implemented as it was found at the end of the 80s. The course is also very detailed apart from the asphalt – a weak point of many other fashion routes. Otherwise, the mods Assetto Corsa is superb for Bridgehampton.

TRACK: Blackwood Reloaded
Blackwood is a fictional spread that was very popular in the simulation “Live for Speed”. They also wanted to have a modder in “Assetto Corsa” and so with the permission of the “LfS” developers this conversion was created, which thanks to UHD textures looks extremely impressive graphically.
