Team Liquid Dota 2 Roster is no more?

A shocking news for all Dota 2 fans all around the globe. Team Liquid’s Dota 2 roster consisting of Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, Ivan Borislavov “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov, Maroun “GH” Merhej, Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi (captain) and Aliwi “w33” Omar is officially no more with North American organisation Team Liquid.

The roster was first started with Kuroky in 2015 and Team Liquid have won 2017 Dota 2 TI 7 in Seattle… They wiped 3-0 agains NEWBEE on August 12, 2017 at KeyArena, Seattle Center.

They were the best Dota 2 team of 2017.

In 2019 they were very close to winning TI again but fell short against OG.

This move came as a shock across DOTA 2 community with all the post TI shuffle going on for new Dota 2 Pro Circuit Season. Victor Goossenes, the Founder and CEO of Team Liquid shared this news on his twitter handle.

Kuro shared a video through Team Liquid where he tells shares gratitude towards the Team Liquid and its staff & also Team Liquid fans. In his video he shared his desire to start a new team on his own and said that its still in the initial phase of development.

It is really heart breaking for Team Liquid Dota 2 fans but Victor Goossenes suggests, the organisation will find a new roster and start afresh.

To say the least, it’s a drastic news but all we can do is hope best for both Team Liquid and Kuroky & others.
