Happy Birthday to Medha Srivastava!

It’s talented lady Medha Srivastava birthday today! You may ask who she is?

Well if you are a Dota 2 fan you might have heard her name. But if you are an Indian Esports enthusiast like me, Medha, surely must have grabbed your eye as one of the best Indian Cosplayer!

She donned the Legion Commander set in the Dota 2 TI 9 cosplayer competition held in Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China on 24^th August 2019 and won $1500 which is approx. ₹ 1 lakh for the best “Best Technique”.

She made the set herself with Eva foam , Sunboard sheet, PVC pipe at her home in Goregaon, Mumbai and was clearly startled when she finally realised, she has won. According to her creating wig was the most challenging part & taking projects out of her comfort zone makes her nervous, but help her learn a lot.

She had also won as the best Cosplayer back in March, at ESL One Mumbai, held at NSCI Dome, Mumbai from April 16-21, 2019

Medha Srivastav is the first Indian Cosplayer to win in this competition along with Rohit Kailashiya, Bengluru Based Cosplayer ( check his Instagram profile here) who won $ 3000 (approx. ₹ 2 lakh) for his Treant Protector.

For Medha, this was not just a competition but also a way of proving her critics. She is an animator and an artist by profession.
