Dota 2 7.25b Update. The all-time famous battle game by Valve has kept it’s employees as well as the players rather busy throughout this month rolling out both the 7.25 updates, that is: Update 7.25a and 7.25b. After the previous patches which left the pro players at great advantages by upgrading some of the heroes, the 7.25b update is mainly focused on nerfing them for balancing purposes. While the 7.25a update only focused on tweaking the abilities of the heroes the 7.25b update is much more diversified in this aspect. The update 7.25b involves changes to the Kill Streak XP Bonus, 3 items and 3 heroes.
Noteworthy changes involve, firstly the cost of Ring of Tarrasque has been increased by 50 to 650. In the heroes section, changes have been to tweak down the abilities with the most changes made to Lycan including reduction in base damage to 6, his talents also suffered reduction with shapeshift time-duration reduced from 8 to 6 seconds and wolves summoned to 2 from 3. Weaver lost it’s agility gain from 3.6 to 3.1. While the shukuchi movement bonus reduced 20 points each from 220/240/260/280 to 200/220/240/260.

- Kill Streak XP bonus reduced from 500->2040 to 30*Level -> 100*Level.
ITEMS
1.TRUSTY SHOVEL
- TP Scroll bundle reduced from 2 to 1.
2.RING OF TARRASQUE
- Cost increased from 600 to 650.
3.NECRONOMICON
- Manacost increased from 50 to 150.
Dota 2 7.25b Update –HEROES
1.LYCAN
- Base damage reduced by 6.
TALENTS
- Level 20 Talent reduced from +8s Shapeshift Duration to +6s.
- Level 25 Talent reduced from +3 Wolves Summoned to +2.
2.WEAVER
- Agility gain reduced from 3.6 to 3.1.
3.SHUKUCHI
- Shukuchi movement bonus reduced from 220/240/260/280 to 200/220/240/260.
Reasons why items such as Necronomicon or ring of tarrasque have been nerfed can be attributed to the abundant use of them in places where they didn’t have much affect or where there absolutely wasn’t any need for them to be.
