Dota 2: New Update 7.22g

On 25th of August at Dota 2 TI 9, OG won the biggest prize pool in the Esport’s history with the heroes like IO, Tiny, Enchantress, swiping the series 3-1 in their favor. After 2 weeks, comes the new patch 7.22g. Influenced by the TI 9 we see many changes. Let’s check them out.

Alchemist, my boy got nerfed heavily, after dominating in TI 9.

GREEVIL’S GREED
Greevil’s Greed gold bonus per stack reduced from 4 to 3

CHEMICAL RAGE
Chemical Rage no longer provides mana regeneration

TALENTS
Level 15 Talent reduced from +50 Damage to +30
Level 25 Talent reduced from -0.2 Chemical Rage Base Attack Time to -0.15

IO the unexpected carry of TI 9

IO, caused havoc in all the games it was played as a carry. IO, OG Ana’s favorite carry, dominated many games. Some talent changes in IO will give more room for error though, the carry IO dream is not yet dead.

TALENTS

Level 10 Talent changed from Spirits Apply Slow to +90 Gold/Min
Level 15 Talent changed from +75 Spirits Hero Damage to Spirits Apply Slow
Level 20 Talent changed from +150 Gold/Min to +75 Spirits Hero Damage

Enchantress also got nerfed, starting from her damage reduction to slight changes in heal and damage output

Base damage reduced by 4

NATURE’S ATTENDANTS
Nature’s Attendants heal reduced from 10/11/12/13 to 7/9/11/13

IMPETUS
Impetus damage reduced from 16/22/28% to 14/20/26%26%

Drow Ranger got little buff

PRECISION AURA
Precision Aura increased from 20/40/60/80% to 22/44/66/88%
TALENTS
Level 15 Talent increased from +40% Gust Blind to +50%

Tiny was picked in all games by OG, in the final series against Team Liquid.

Tiny volley toss made a lot of difference in many games, so its no surprise to see these changes.

Base strength reduced by 2 (damage unchanged)

Tree Volley damage reduced from 120% to 100%
Tree Volley manacost increased from 150 to 200
Tree Volley cooldown increased from 12 to 15

BRACER
Magic resistance reduced from 6% to 5%

CHAINMAIL
Armor reduced from 5 to 4

HAND OF MIDAS
Recipe cost increased from 1650 to 1750

MEDALLION OF COURAGE
Armor reduced from 7 to 6

PHASE BOOTS
Armor reduced from 6 to 5

SENTRY WARD
Stock replenish time increased from 70 seconds to 85

SOLAR CREST
Armor reduced from 12 to 10
Recipe cost increased from 300 to 400
