PayTM First Games organised the biggest Clash Royale Tournament in India. The tournament saw participation from over 11,000 people across the nation. Clash Royale, for those of you who don’t know, is a real time multiplayer game developed and published by Supercell.
The time of lock down because of Coronavirus disease can really be said as a golden opportunity for esports. The industry has really flourished in this time as all the content they are making is being consumed because people too need something to entertain them.
About The Clash Royale Tournament
The tournament had a single elimination format and was held between 10th and 13th April 2020. The Prize Pool Was enormous and had a total of Rs 4,00,000 for all the placeholders.
The Grand Finale of the tournament was live streamed on PayTM First Games’ Youtube channel and was reportedly seen by over 70,000 viewers. Kirit Kumar Anantroa Ramchadrani, or ‘Sandrin’ from Gujrat emerged as the winner of the tournament while Karan Pal Singh known as ‘ABR’ from Gurugram got the second position. The top 2 players received huge sums of Rs.1,40,000 and Rs.70,000 respectively. Other people also got cash prizes between 4000-5000.
