The VALORANT devs have released a new type of weapon skins called the Ultra Edition. The first of which is the Elderflame collection.
VALORANT’s Elderflame is a dragon inspired weapon skins collection.
Just picture your weapons turned into a fire breathing dragon, that’s exactly what this collection is all about. The weapon skins are basically dragons with various animations.
The shooting animation of weapons looks like a dragon spitting fire. The shooting, reload & equip animations for each weapon are unique.
Elderflame skins are available for following weapons:
The Vandal:
The Frenzy:
The Operator:
The Judge:
The collection also features a fiery melee blade.
There are also various weapon effects you can unlock with radiant points after buying the skin.
Some in the community aren’t very happy with these skins & are concerned about gameplay & they aren’t wrong.
At the highest level of play these cosmetics & effects might affect the competitive gameplay, and I won’t be surprised to hear some tournament organizers ban such skins.
The collection is available in the store on July 10 and the price is approximately 95-100 $.
VALORANT is getting better everyday. And this is just the beginning.
