PUBG Turns 3 Years Old

PUBG Turns 3 years old! Total 3 years have passed since the release of the beta of PUBG! Happy Birthday PUBG !

23rd March 2020 will mark the official third birthday of Players Unknown Battleground. The Battle Royale game, originally released in 2017, was a pioneer in the genre. While there are multiple battle Royale Games today, PUBG has still managed to stay relevant.

In the official blog post, the PUBG team has commemorated all the work’s that been done on the game in the past year, and gives us some idea of what to look forward to in the coming year.

Celebration is in the Year after PUBG turns 3 years old!

The PUBG team has outlined what it is going to do to celebrate the occasion. PUBG players can redeem a 3rd Anniversary Item Box for free during a limited period, featuring an M416 skin, hoodie, and parachute designed in the Community Skin Design Contest.

The box will be available from March 23 to April 23, and can be redeemed from the in-game store.Console players will have the item box added to their account automatically when they log in between March 26 and April 25.

The team has also promised changes to the popular map Vikendi, which was taken down earlier this year for changes. In the blog post, they also mentioned “map reworks, new maps, new weapons & mechanics, additional game options, and of course quality of life improvements & bug fixes for some of your most pressing issues.”

The latest update also adds WWII-era rocket launcher Panzerfaust. The weapon packs enough punch to knock out an entire squad. The catch is that it takes up the whole primary weapons slot and it has only one shot. Along with this, the update also buffs Tommy Gun and UMP-45.
