PUBG mobile has apparently led to yet another death. A 14 year old boy committed suicide after being scolded for playing PUBG by his family members. The incident took place in Rajendra Nagar, Gopalganj, Bihar India.
Himanshu Kumar was apparently playing PUBG when his family members scolded him for wasting too much time on PUBG. The incident took place on 13th March, and is still under investigation. Himanshu took his life in his own bedroom. The boy’s mental condition was further worsened due to apparently losing multiple games in PUBG.
The family has refused to cooperate with the police for the sake of the investigation, as disclosed by an investigating officer. This has led to various incomplete details, as even the boy’s relatives are refusing to disclose any information. This makes it seem as if the boy’s family members are trying to hide something. While it is too early to say, this might indicate foul play by the family. No suicide note was written by the boy, however.
This incident should serve as a reminder to us all to make sure we avoid addiction and obsession with any activity. Be it work or pleasure, all of us should ensure we maintain a balance between all activities.
