PUBG Mobile Invitational is an esports tournament organised by India Today in association with Trinity Gaming. After the success of their earlier tournament by the name of FreeFire which got quite popular. It will be a 4 day tournament to be organised from 23rd to 26th April 2020. The tournament will witness various professional and semi-professional teams from all over India. The tournament will start from 2pm on Thursday. These teams will be playing on each of the maps Errangel, Sanhok, Miramar and Vikendi once each day for the 4 total days. In total 16 matches will be played starting everyday from 2 pm from 23-26 April. The matches will be live streamed on the Gaming Tak channel, which is the Gaming Channel of India Today.
The tournament will provide a much needed push that our esports industry needs. Also at the time of quarantine this will help people relax and watch something entertaining. Furthermore many teams and players are in boot camp preparing for their next major tournament. This tournament could help them prepare by competing against each other and also checking their performance under stress. With this being a major year fro PUBG as an esports huge tournaments are bound to happen so the PUBG Mobile Invitational is a golden opportunity in helping the players prepare beforehand.
