League of Legend players who’ve been holding out on purchasing any merch can now take the plunge with the start of a sale. This sale isn’t technically a Black Friday sale. Rather it is called the “Merch Rivals” event however it follows the same principle of saving money on League merchandise. The sale offers are more and prices are lower the more you spend.
Riot’s merch store is open with new and fan favourite items are always up for sale. The details of this merch rivals event can be found through an FAQ that tells players how much they save when they shop. For example, you can save as much as 40% provided your car is filled with items and if you’ve picked out the right items.
“The more you add, the more you save. When your cart reaches $35.00, $75.00 and $120.00 with qualified products- your order discount will grow from 20%, 30% up to 40% on your entire cart. The more you add the greater the total discount-some exclusions apply.” Riot games said about the sale.
As mentioned by Riot Games, there are a few products that are excluded from the sale. The Mechs vs Minions tabletop game, any pre-order items, statues, jackets and everything in the art category are all excluded from the discount. This removes a decent number of products from consideration. However there is still plenty of items including clothing and other accessories that are part of the sale.
Numerous players took to twitter to express their joy on their savings. So if you’ve had an eye on a few products or if have some gifts to pick out, this would be the best time to do it.
