Injustice 2 is a very popular video game, based upon the DC universe. Injustice 2 was developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. Injustice 2 is the sequel to Injustice: God among us, which was released in 2013. The core game play remains same to its previous installment Injustice: Goad Among Us. Few minor adjustments were made when returning to the game lobby.

Game History –
Injustice 2 is a fighting video game which was released by NetherRealm Studios in 2017. The game was initially released for PlayStation and Xbox one. Game was released for Microsoft Windows later in the same year in November 2017. Later an expanded version of Injustice 2 was released in March 2018 for the PlayStation, Xbox one and Microsoft Windows. Expanded version of Injustice 2 was released with title Injustice 2: Legendary Edition. Legendary edition included all previously released downloadable content for the game. It also introduced a new feature such as an expanded tutorial system called the “LEARN HUB”. A companion mobile app was also released for android and iOS devices as well.
Plot of Injustice 2 –
Injustice 2 continues the story set in motion in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together, but struggle against those who would restore Superman’s Regime. In the midst of this chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s very existence at risk.
Story Mode consists of 76 different fights and five difficulties from Very Easy to Very Hard. Completing a chapter will grant you an epic-tier Gear for the fighter you use during that chapter as well as a common-tier Shader for that fighter. Completing the entire Story on your first play through will reward you with a total of 10 Bronze, 7 Silver, 1 Gold, 1 Platinum, and 1 Diamond Mother Boxes as well as a total of over 55,000 credits, 7 Regeneration tokens, and 3,700 Source Crystals. You will also unlock Brainiac as a playable fighter.
Gameplay –
Game utilizes a heavy, medium, and light attack layout, as well as a Trait button for unique character attacks. The unique attacks include projectiles, speed boosts, strength buffs, and teleportation. The character models look and move hyper-realistically, and the combos and cinematic super moves are a joy to execute. Injustice 2’s deep move list provides a full breakdown of frame data and attack damage, which is great for people who want to see which moves are the least punishable.
Injustice 2’s gameplay is fast and frenetic—if you take the time to learn a character. The combat may feel disjointed if you simply randomly select a character without being familiar with its pacing and move set. As a result, you’ll encounter a learning curve if you’re making the leap from competing fighting games, such as Tekken 7. Still, mastering a character is incredibly rewarding.

Clash Mechanism –
A new mechanic lets you spend super meter bars to roll, break combos, or quickly recover from oncoming attacks. These help turn the tide when you’re getting relentlessly hammered by your opponent, and leave you with a chance to take the advantage. It adds another layer of complexity to the gameplay, as you must determine whether or not it’s worth sacrificing a portion of your meter for a quick save now versus a high-damage super move later.

Overall, Injustice 2’s advancements not only soar over its predecessor, but over the majority of other games in the fighting genre, too. Packing a ridiculous amount of content, including a single player experience that’s crafted to perfection, Injustice 2 is the prototype for fighters to come.

Like its predecessor, Injustice 2 was released for iOS and Android devices on May 11, 2017. The app was first in the Philippines App Store in February 2017. It maintains several gameplay features from the original, including the swipe-based fighting mechanics, card collection, and three-on-three battles, but introduces various changes to the game’s overall formula. Players are now given the ability to move around the stage freely during combat, as well as use jumping and crouching attacks. The stamina management system returns; however, instead of each character receiving their own allotment of stamina, the player is given a single pool of stamina which depletes after every match.
Fights also require higher levels of stamina than the previous game. Injustice 2 was the top-selling game across all platforms in Australia and New Zealand during its first two weeks, and the best-selling game in the United States for the month of May 2017. By the end of May, Injustice 2 was the ninth best-selling game of 2017.

Injustice 2 received favourable response from gamers. Most of the gamers liked the plot and graphics of the game. Reviewers also praised the hard work of developers by praising the graphics and in game content of Injustice 2. Gamers also praised the game’s faster walk speed, the additions of the evasive roll and air recovery maneuvers, and the ability to block environmental attacks. PC Gamer listed it as one of their best games of the year. However, few complained about the complexity of the game. Few found it difficult to search characters.
