DOTA : Outlanders Update comes to Underlords

Dota 2 Underlords

The Outlanders update has finally come to DOTA Underlords. This brings in a new Alliance, game mode and new tutorial for people playing the game for the first time. After the update was revealed during TI 9, it actually took Valve three months to release the Outlanders. This is probably one of the biggest changes to DOTA 2. The changes include new items, hero changes and brand new heros.

Update introduces new Knockout game mode

Outlander Snapfire & Void Spirit

This update in Underlords include includes a new game mode called Knockout. This is a fast-paced mode where each player has four lives instead of health. Additionally you will also get an initial crew of heroes to start with. The aim of this mode is to knock out the enemies. There will be no time here.

The new Alliance introduced in this update is the Spirit Alliance. This is made up of Snapfire and Void Spirit. Along with them there will be three elemental spirits called Storm Spirit, Ember Spirit and Earth Spirit. When these three spirits come together they will unleash an attack called Triangular Delta Slam. This has the power to dance any heros and can also inflict the spirit’s elemental effects.

Snapfire is a dragon inventor who can provide ranged support to her allies and shotgun fire that can slow enemies. Void Spirit on the other hand is a melee attacker. This can create portals that allow him to perform stealth attacks on his enemies. He also has an Ace ability that will cause charged spirits to deal with 100% more damage.

The new tutorial for new players aims to teach players the basics of Underlords in an accelerated manner. For any player who have played less than three games the video starts automatically. Therefore existing players need not worry about the tutorial playing mid game.
