Made in Brazil (MiBR), the Brazilian CS Go squad have officially replaced Lucas “Lucas1” Teles with young Argentinian star Igancio “meyern” Meyer. This puts and end to the rumours which started a week ago.

“Meyern” joins from Shark Esports who most recently made it to the ECS Season 8 and ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals. The teams qualification came on the back of some excellent performances by the youngster in particular.

This is the 6th roster change made by the Brazilian organisation who have gone on a slump in 2019. All of “stewie2k”, “tarik”, “felps”, “coldzera” and now “Lucas1” have left the organisation in 2019.

“Lucas1” was brought in as a replacement for João ‘felps’ Vasconcellos back in September.

Vito ‘kNgV-‘ Giuseppe who replaced Marcelo “coldzera” David was added to bring firepower back to the Brazillians.

“Lucas1” started of very brightly with the team and often carrying them to victories in the first few months. But slowly his performances started to dwindle out with opponents getting used to his play style. During his time with “MiBR” “Lucas1” had a rating of 1.02 similar to what “felps” had during his second stint. “Lucas1” currently has no takers and will have to spend some time off the scene.

Results were improving recently but the team was not even close to challenge for the top spot in the game. To win tournaments the team needed a player who could have an impact even in dire situation. “Fallen”, the godfather of Brazilian CS may have felt the need for a change and acted quickly.

Though it was “kngv” expected to bring the firepower, MiBR have strung another move to bring in the 17 year old. The Argentenian primarily an entry fragger can also pick the AWP if needed.

But he is primarily brought in to out frag the opponents and help the team back to the top.

The new MiBR lineup will be seen in action at the cs_summit 5 which starts today itself i.e. 12th December. The competition will also see the new OG CS:GO Squad debut with their lineup including “Aleksib and veteran “NBK”.

MiBR’s new roster:

  • Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo
  • Fernando ‘fer’ Alvarenga
  • Epitacio ‘TACO’ de Melo
  • Vito ‘kNgV-‘ Giuseppe
  • Ignacio ‘meyern’ Meyer
