COD‌ ‌Season‌ 5 ‌is‌ ‌here‌!

The new COD Mobile season 5 is here with new and surprisingly awesome updates. It was released on 1st April on Android and iOS. Apparently the new season is being called “Steel Legion” , a pretty bold name!

The CoD websites show “The Steel Legion ‘Magmacomb’ weapons can be found throughout the Premium Pass at Tier 1 for the M4, Tier  20 for the M21 EBR, and Tier 30 for the AK-117”.

The prominent change is the introduction of the “2v2 mode” like the Gunfight in CoD Modern Warfare. In this duos face each other with random loadouts each round, the health does not regenerate throughout the round and the first team to take 5 rounds wins the game. This is a limited time mode, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Further the Meltdown maps from Black Ops is now available. A brand new pass introducing 2 new soldiers has been brought out. First one is David Mason the son of Alex Mason who was the protagonist of Black Ops 2. Secondly an experimental war Robot Reaper who was first shown in Black Ops 3. It kicks off the Premium Pass at Tier 1.

COD Mobile Season 5 removes the Zombie Mode

Unfortunately, the zombie mode has been removed. But the good news is the 20v20 . Battle royal is back but only as a limited-time mode. In addition to that 2 new guns have been added to the mode  the HS2126 shotgun and the UL736 LMG. The CoD website quotes “The UL736 is a powerful LMG that can lay down cover fire for teammates or help you hold crucial locations like the high ground in the final moments of a Battle Royale match”.

Further abilities like the RC shock have been introduced. Killstreak-RC Shock. This jolt of electricity temporarily stuns  the enemies. Players can earn the RC Shock by getting 350 points in a match.

This update brings out a lot of changes and exciting new weapons and modes. How the players react to the new update will be seen in the coming weeks!
