You read that right.
In a bizarre turn of events, it seems like Revenant, the alleged new character from Apex Legends is real after all. The reveal came at a bit of a cost, however as it meant that Forge in Apex Legends was now dead.
You read that right- the developers of Apex Legends have apparently kiled off a recently introduced character.
In the video, you can see how Forge talks himself up as a fighter, before being unceremoniously stabbed by Revenant. The video abruptly ends there.
While it could be possible that this is the last we see of Forge, it is also possible that this won’t be the case. This is due to the fact that EA spent a lot of time and effort in hyping up Forge as a character. All that effort would obviously go waste if it was done just to introduce another character. Many fans also reason how Forge already has a metal arm; a similar replacement for his chest should be possible.
As far as Revenant is concerned, he is set to be the latest legend introduced in the season. Multiple fans have pointed out how Forge’s appearance was pretty sketchy and it seemed Revenant was in the background. Furthermore, Forge’s head shot on the official Apex Legends website has been grayed out and his name has been changed to “RIP Jimie ‘Forge’ Mccormick” with the description “Never defeated (except for that one time) .
Ouch!
While Forge’s future is up for speculation, one thing is for certain; Revenant is here to stay.
And Forge Apex Legends Career is dead.
