Respawn Apex Legends $ 3 Million Competition

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for Windows, PlayStation 4 and X- box one on February 4, 2019. Its first official tournament is going to be launched soon as announced by Respawn Entertainment. A new Global Eports tournament series is going to be fun for the players. This new series is called the Apex Legends Global Series.

This tournament will feature 12 live events around the world that are produced either Respawn and its parent company Electronic Arts. Or by the tournament’s event production partner PGL & GLL. The total prize money is $3 million! With a $1 million kept aside for Apex Legend Global Series Championship held at the end of the circuit.

There will be 4 majors held throughout the year. The first three will include 100 three-player squads competing against each other for a share of $500, 000 prize pool per event. The 4th event would feature the world’s top 60 teams in a Grand Finale Battle with a $1 million at stake.

Not only can the members of official esports teams are allowed to participate but also any player from the listed 60 countries can be a part of the tournament. The deserving candidate will be selected through online qualifiers, which would begin from January 25, 2020.

If any team performs well enough in any one of the tournaments, they will be provided access to one of the three majors. These majors would be live events featuring as many as 100 squads. The best 60 would qualify for the championship events with a $1 million prize money. The first major is scheduled on 13th-15th March 2020. It would be very interesting to see, who would surpass millions of player to become the one true legend. Legend who will climbs to the Apex of the championship.
