Alan Wake Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

The survival horror game Alan Wake recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary on 14 May 2020. The game is an action adventure game which includes surviving through the thriller and horror gameplay developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios. The game was initially released on Box and was released on Microsoft Windows 2 years later.

The story revolves around the protagonist Alan Wake who is a novelist and is trying to uncover the mystery behind the death of his wife. The game is made like a television series, it has been broken down into 6 episodes complemented by 2 further special ones made available later as Downloadable Content. The game has an air of suspicion and thrill in it. There’s this eerie darkness throughout the gameplay which can make you shriek. It involves the protagonist fighting with various enemies, by the name of Taken. They vary in shape and sizes and they inflict different amounts of damages based on what they are.

In the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the game Alan Wake, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass from May 21st. The developer Remedy games tweeted this,

 The game is one of the best in it’s genre and there is no debate on that. The  amount of adrenaline rush it gives is simply amazing. All of this along with the amazing gameplay and an impeccable yet body trembling story the game is one that is worth a replay even today!
