148 – SF having Wisp’s orbs as his ult

Yes, when SF first came out, his ult was basically permanent Wisp’s orbs that could be expanded and contracted, and dealt pathetic damage.

149 – Zeus’s static field was an active. With something like a 0 secs CD and less %. I remember how useless I thought it was, and how it got me laughing out loud when I ganked a Zeus and he spammed it desperately (the animation was hilarious, like he was doing squats) doing close to no damage and then died.

150 – There was a hero called God of Wind

No one seem to remember this hero, not even me. I don’t know what skills he had, the only reason I remembered his name was because he came in the same patch as BS and both were removed. I noticed BS came back, but God of Wind never did.

151 – Deso Clinkz was the bomb

Aside from SA, rushing first item Deso on Clinkz was the second most popular way to pub stomp. And it was surprisingly effective back then. No one seem to ever mention this, but Medusa Aegis Rapier is commonly brought up.

152 – Dazzle’s ult was Shallow Grave

This would have been beyond imbalanced today. Basically the long ass duration lasted longer than it’s cooldown so you can cast it on more than one person. If the person dies, he loses no gold and respawns almost immediately.

153 – FV had Carrion Swarm

Probably the most out of place spell I can remember. Everyone remember his old ult stunned the entire map, but no one remembers that he had Carrion Swarm in place of Time Walk.

154 – Ogre Magi had 100% multi-cast

There was no chance, only leveling up your ult and getting aghs.

155 – SK’s two forgotten spells

He leaves behind a trial of dust that debuffs enemies with miss chance, and it only worked when he was on Sentinel. And he could burrow indefinitely and stuns when he comes out.

156 – BOT used to cost 2700 gold

And the only other boot upgrade was Treads. And there was no such thing as TPs. Or couriers. Or even tangos.

157 – This one is still here, but I bet very few in Dota 2 remembers this now.

You can literally walk to a spot near the enemy fountain and appear back in your base as a shortcut. I’ll give you an apple this didn’t make you go “OH YEAH”.

166 The enforcer at a local pub, Rigwarl’s never failed to collect a tab. That is, until he met one tough customer from the north. For the first time in his life, Rigwarl felt the need to train. His thorny back deters attack while peppering foes with constant Quill Sprays.

168. Upon the black steed Armageddon, the Chaos Knight rode into countless battles with a single purpose in mind: To extinguish that which he knows as “The Light”. Like a roll of unseen dice, the oldest Fundamental stuns his targets with a Chaos Bolt, then deals unpredictable damage in the form of Chaos Strikes.

177. It is said that none survived the battle at the Trembling Isle, save perhaps, the Admiral of the Claddish fleet. Man or phantom, Kunkka’s presence on the battlefield is duly felt by all. Armed with the legendary Tidebringer, the Admiral strikes with a single blow at all who stand before him.

178. Renowned for her intrepid defense of Stonehall, the commander of the Bronze Legion swore a brutal vengeance upon its abyssal invaders. The call of Tresdin’s horn heals and hastens her soldiers, inspiring them to Press the Attack. Faced with Overwhelming Odds, the commander calls down a spread of arrows from the archers of Stonehall.

179.  The Lifestealer Feasts on raw flesh, nourishing himself with every attack while inflicting grievous Open Wounds that make escape near impossible. By sheer ferocity, or perhaps madness, N’aix flies into a Rage, intensifying his assault while defying all wizardry.

188 The Rogue Knight lives by two creeds: Honor, as ordained by his own personal code, and solitude. Using his iron gauntlet, Sven throws out the Storm Hammer to stun multiple foes.

189. Rizzrack had good cause to be paranoid. Augury Bay fell to the walking trees, its inhabitants crushed under branch and bough.
