Street Fighter is a fighting video game series developed and published by Capcom. The first game was released in 1987 followed by five other main series games. It’s the latest part is the Street Fighter V: Champion Edition released on February 15, 2020. It’s time to experience the intensity of head-to-head battles with Street Fighter. Choose from 16 deadly characters, then battle against friends online or offline with a robust variety of match options.
Urien’s Past
Urien Street Fighter and his elder brother Gill were born to parents who were part of a secret society, the infamous Illuminati. Both of them were equally strong and capable, but Urien being younger always envied his brother which stems from being physically inferior to him. Kin to their parents both the brothers were potential candidates to the presidency of the cult. Soon after their nomination both the brothers were separated from their parents and were made to undergo rigorous and continuous training and monitoring sessions.
During that period Urien imbibed the elements of the Earth as well mastered Aegis Reflector, one of the 66 secret arts of the Illuminati. Unfortunately, the management chose Gill over Urien as the president of the secret society that came down heavily upon Urien. It happened before Street Fighter III.
During the 2nd Impact, Urien decided to take revenge by claiming the leadership of Illuminati. He finally succeeded to become the Vice-president of the organization, just one step behind to overthrow his brother. He was in charge of the G-Project which was involved in making clones. He decided to create his own army using the project.
What happened to Urien after the Third World Warrior Tournament is still a mystery. Although it is believed that Urien was successful in defeating his brother subsequently claiming the leadership of the Secret Society and destroying its preservation facility.
Urien Street Fighter Personality
Urien can be best compared with a Greek God who is training and authoritative. His violent and destructive nature can be very well observed by the phrases he screams such as “ crush”, “destroy” and “kill”. He disregards all the noble traits including leadership and considers them worthless. His fickle mindedness and impatience are often revealed in the game especially when he throws an Aegis reflector of Rashid for only touching him.
Urien’s patience runs out of fuel when he deals with those he calls “ Commoners”. His nickname in Street Fighter III series “ The Treacherous Disciple” clearly hints towards his personality which is compared to Judas against Gill’s Jesus.His desire to become the “True Emperor” makes him a proud and sadistic person harmful to society. Despite Urien being a negative character, his strength and commitment towards his goals cannot be ignored. His becoming the president of the Illuminati society is a big achievement and should be not overshadowed by the negativity he carries with him.

Fighting style and abilities
Urien Street Fighter basic fighting style resembles that of the players involved in Pankration ( a sporting event introduced into the Greek Olympic Games that was played without any rules). His moves are simpler compared to his brother Gill. Urien can wield lightning and make his body metallic. He can also generate electrified spheres and moves like knee drops, headbutts, and charging tackles all with the aim of shocking his opponents. His unpredictable combos make him highly dangerous as an opponent and a gem as a player.
Moveset
Uriens lower attribute makes him more balanced for higher-level play. His moves tend to do lesser damage compared to that of Gill. Urien’s unpredictable moves make him less constant and difficult to anticipate. He has a variety of combos that provide him with an array of opportunities to inflict higher damage. Fighting Urien
Before we crush Urien street fighter we should first have a look at his combos.
His first combo is ” target combo” that results in an overhead that is forward medium punch forward heavy punch. As the second hit is overhead so crouched blocking could be big trouble for you but the good thing is that if you get the block correctly you could attack and punish him. The best to counter this combo is first to block the forward medium punch and immediately start moving back and after about a half-second to down back. This would solve your problems and you can easily crush him.
The second deadly move that players usually find difficult to counter is ” Crouching Heavy Punch”. The reason I am emphasizing this combo is that it is highly popular among Urien players because if it hits the opponent, deal huge damage. Most of the Urien players mix a knee drop along with this combo so if in case you go for an offensive movie after blocking the combo you might get hit. In order to counter it what you can do is find a punish with the player that moves you forward so if Urien Street Fighter goes into the air you can punish him when he lands.
