Overwatch, the team based first shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment and Iron Galaxy is celebrating its 4th anniversary. Although it was yesterday, on the 24th that it became 4 years old, the anniversary celebrations are supposedly 3 weeks long, from 19th May to 9th June.
An event like this is held every year by Overwatch to celebrate the anniversary of the game. The event is live on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
What all is happening in the events of the 4th anniversary?
During the 4th anniversary events all seasonal brawls return to the game along with all the seasonal cosmetics. Also the 3 week celebration will feature the release of new skins like Dragoon, Little Red and also including the very amazing Masquerade Reaper legendary skin. Each day from 19th May to 9 June specific brawls from older seasonal events are unlocked for players to play. Asof today 25th May the Storm Rising Missions are available, and in case you miss them don’t worry the same mission will be again available on June 2nd.
Apart from these the 4th Anniversary events include weekly challenges which result in getting special records once you complete them. This week’s challenges include
- Win 3 Games – Get Carbon Fiber Sigma Player Icon
- Wn 6 Games – Get Carbon Fiber Sigma Spray
- Win 9 Games – Carbon Fiber Sigma Epic Skin
The following weeks will contain, Week 2: Fleur de Lis Widowmaker and Week 3: Masked Man McCree. The official website also reported that while the anniversary weeks are in action the Anniversary loot boxes have, “a chance to contain items from past Anniversary and seasonal events”.
